  在英语教师资格证面试考试中,经常会出现一种考查形式---单词教学。单词的教授与学习是整个英语学习过程的重中之重,是一切语言技能的基础。教授单词往往被误认为只要教会学生“拼写、含义、发音”即可,但是单词教学远不止这些。理解一个单词还需要了解以下内容:

  (1)在语法环境下正确使用单词

  √ They did itvery well.

  × They did it very good.

  (2)了解正确语序衔接

  √ Thank you verymuch.

  × Very much thank you.

  (3)明确词语搭配

  √ Brown sugar

  × Red sugar

  (4)词汇褒贬

  √ slim

  × skinny

  (5)如何在正确语境中使用

  Would you like a cup of tea? 的正式程度超过 Can I get you a cup of tea?

  所以词汇的教学一定是在情境当中,而上述内容都应当在教学中注意到,下面就小学英语词汇教学活动进行举例。

  那么新授单词的方法有哪些呢?

  (1)使用实物

  (2)利用图片、图示

  (3)举例呈现

  (4)学习者做动作(TPR)

  下面我们来举几个例子:

  例1

  T: OK, boys and girls, listen and follow my instructions. Let’s jump. (Teacher jumps)

  S: Jump! (Students jumps)

  T: OK, let’s walk. Walk. OK, walk like this. (Teacher walks)

  S: Walk,walk, walk. (Students walk)

  在这个例子中,教师利用全身反应法(TPR)来教授“walk”,通过表演直观生动的让学生感知词汇含义,并且在游戏中学会如何使用该词汇。

  例2

  T: (Finished a story telling)OK... Whose birthday is it in the story?

  S: It’s Bobby’s.

  T: Yes. It’s Bobby’s birthday. So,his mother gives him... (expecting children to answer)

  S1: A box?

  S2: (In Chinese) Yi Ge Sheng Ri LiWu.

  T: Ah, yes, a gift. His mother gives him a birthday gift. A gift.

  Ss: Gift!

  T: Do you get a birthday gift for your birthday?...

  在这个例子中,教师利用一个故事来引出“gift”,并且通过情境对话来让学生联系实际,并感知词汇在语言当中如何应用。

  例3

  T: Now look at the picture of a zoo. What can you see in the zoo?

  Ss : Monkeys! Pandas!

  T: What else? What are these animals? (pointing to the giraffes in the picture)

  S1: Giraffe.

  T: Yes, they are giraffes.

  Ss: Giraffes.

  在这个例子中,教师通过图片展示动物“giraffe”,学生可以通过图片直观感知词汇的含义,并且通过情景对话,知道词汇在句子中如何应用。

  例4

  The teacher gave out some vegetable cards to some pupils in the class before the lesson began.)

  T: I have some vegetable here. Look what are they? (Showing several mushrooms)

  Ss: They are...

  T: Listen, mushrooms. Listen carefully, They’re mushrooms(The teacher writes the words along with a picture on the blackboard). Read after me, mushrooms.

  Ss: Mushrooms.

  T: Now, who has mushrooms? Show your card to the class, please. “I have...”

  Ss: (Those who have the word cards of mushrooms stand up) I have mushrooms.

  T: Excellent, thank you. Sit down, please.

  在这个例子中,教师利用实物展示,直观生动的让学生感知到“mushroom”的含义,通过师生对话,学生将学习到如何将新授词汇利用到日常交际中。

  在此仅举几例,希望大家可以将文中的例子应用到自己的教学活动当中。(教案写作不可以写长篇的师生对话,只需总结活动即可。)
